Mission Statement.
The mission of Robotics Team 5316 shall be to promote interest in and
knowledge of science, technology, engineering, computer, math, robotics, and
business throughout central Michigan elementary, middle, and high schools and
the communities they serve; and to develop problem solving, cooperation,
leadership, business, teamwork, communication, problem solving and other life

General Purpose.
The general purpose for which Robotics Team 5316 is organized and operated
includes, but is not limited to, charitable and educational purposes, and in general
engaging only in that conduct which is permitted by the regulations of the Michigan
Non-Profit Act and section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Tax-Exempt Purpose.
The Corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable and
educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (herein called the “Code” and referred to by
Section reference), including, for such purposes, receiving contributions for and
making distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under
section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; educating individuals on
charitable fundraising, and the goals and purposes of nonprofit organizations that
benefit from related fundraising; and disseminating information and literature
regarding various nonprofit organizations.
